Natural Hair Care
Natural Hair Care are simple ways you can look after your hair using basics you can make at home. In today's world we tend to go for more expensive products, falling into the trap of thinking the more expensive the product, the better the ingredients used. Unfortunately this isn't always the case, and in the same way many people are turning to Natural Skin Care as an alternative to expensive products the same is happening to Natural Hair Care.
There are some simple things you can do to add to your normal routine hair care routine of shampoo and conditioning to give your hair some extra strength and vitality.
Add a few drops of aromatherapy oil to your hair and massage into your scalp. You can do this before or after you've washed your hair, but doing it after will not only make your hair smell nice but can reduce your stress. Lavender is always a good choice but rosemary can help fight infections, and ylang ylang can promote hair growth and rejuvenate.
The same way that it is important to use cleansers on your skin, it is important to cleanse your hair to give it an extra clean to get rid of built up residue. Get a few tablespoons of dried of rosemary (if you want to be extra environmental friendly you can even grow it yourself), and mix with a cup of vinegar. Heat the combo, but be careful it doesn't get too hot remember this will have to go on your scalp eventually. Use a spoon to crush the rosemary against the side of the bowl, this will release its essence. Once you're satisfied sieve the rosemary leaves out of the mixture and while its cooling, shampoo and rinse your hair. Add the mixture and leave it in for about two minutes, then rinse with cold water
For dry hair, olive oil is a great Natural Hair Care product to put some moisture into your hair. Massage some olive oil in and wrap a towel (warm if possible) around your hair and leave it for half an hour. Rinse it out then use shampoo to get the smell and grease out.
Egg whites and lemon juice are some other great Natural Hair Care products. Adding a some drops of lemon juice (about 8) to an egg and then beating them together will create a natural hair mask. You only need to leave the mask on for a few minutes and then make sure you rinse it out really well. The last thing you want is old egg stuck in your hair.
Separately, rinsing your hair with lemon juice, you'll need at least 2-3 lemons to do this will bring shine back into your hair.
Egg white is great for oily hair, although I suggest you only do this when no one is home to take pictures. Beat an egg white and put it on dry hair. Now you need to leave it there and let it dry. Once it becomes hair and crisp, wash it out using shampoo and cold water. This is a great Natural Hair Care solution but needs to be done regularly.
