Skin Care Products

We all want to take care of our skin, but with literally hundreds of different Skin Care Products available it can be hard to know where to start and what promises to believe.

Everyone has different skin types and wants different results from their skin care routine. We all are restricted for time these days and I’m sure there are much more important things you would rather be doing than going through shopping aisle trying to figure out what products you need.  Here we will take away the guesswork, covering the basics of the different Skin Care Products, explaining what each product does, the differences between them and why you should take the time to use it.

When looking for different types of Skin Care Products, be careful to only get products that are suitable to your skin-type, and be aware that any Skin Conditions you may have will effect what types of products you should be using. Also be aware that you will need different products for your body and your face. While this may seem costly, don’t feel forced to shell out big dollars on your products. Go for products that suit your skin and don’t get sucked in by paying more for brand name products when a cheaper version could do the same job.

Expect a period of trial and error; it may take a few goes to find the exact combinations of Skin Care Products that work for you. You may also need to change your products every few years. As you grow older, and your skin changes and adapts to the products you have been using you may find your skin needing different types of products.

If possible try to stay away from products containing

Elaeis Guineensis,

Glyceryl Stearate and

Stearic Acid

These are just fancy names for palm oil. Palm oil farming and its high demand for use in products is wiping out the forests of Indonesia, contributing high levels of pollution to the atmosphere, taking away the livelihoods of the Indonesian people and deforestation which is pushing the Orangutan to near extinction.
